Credit Risk Manager develops and implements policies and procedures that reduce credit risk for a financial institution. Manages the building of financial models that predict credit risk exposure to the organization. Being a Credit Risk Manager oversees the preparation of performance reports for management.

Eligibility

High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred. Minimum five years of small business lending and business banking experience in a financial institution.

Proven ability to accurately interpret financial statements, perform sound credit analysis, and make strong credit decisions.
Ability to collaborate effectively with business partners and peers to meet desired results. Ability to communicate complex concepts and disseminate information varied audiences.
Ability to prioritize projects and tasks and handle multiple tasks accurately and completely, while meeting conflicting deadlines.
Professional written and verbal communication skills demonstrated by strong composition, grammar, spelling, punctuation and proofreading abilities. Ability to demonstrate courtesy and tact in all interactions.
Knowledge and understanding of the Credit Union’s products, services and loan policies, along with general knowledge of the federal and state laws and regulations that govern business lending.
Ability to adapt to a wide range of job responsibilities and be flexible in performing varied job duties.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision and also as a team player.
Ability to conduct needs assessments, identify problems, develop solutions and take appropriate course of action.
Familiarity with the major cities located within our service area.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
